Peterson HERARD
Hi, I'm Pete
A born-and-raised Haitian boy, migrated to the United States at the age of 9 with nothing more than passion, and a dream for a better life. Today I've earned multiple six figures as an entrepreneur and I am building an empire that is touching and impacting people all around the world.
One of the things I'm often asked is
How did this all happen? How did you get started in all this?
Like many others, I was focused on a corporate career, and determined to climb the corporate ladder. After all, as a Haitian kid growing up in a Haitian household, it was expected. In fact, you already had your career picked out for you. My choices, or rather every Haitian kid career choice are a doctor, an engineer, a Lawyer, or a Judge.
Given that I didn't want to disappoint, and given that I am a talker, I opted in for a career as a Lawyer. I began attending Florida Gulf Coast University and majored in Political Science with a focus on pre-Law. After applying and getting accepted into my law school of choice, I realized that it would cost me $300K-$500K in debt WITH scholarships. I freaked out. And I said forget law school.
Now, I just broke my Haitian parents' hearts.
I thought I would get kicked out for sure lol. Surprisingly, they understood. Wow! "that's a first," I thought. So now, I had to get a JOB.
I came across a Teller Job at Chase on Indeed and applied for the position. And I got hired! Thus, my corporate career began. I excelled in the role, and was soon promoted to a Lead Teller, and promoted again to Assistant Branch Manager. I discovered that I was really good with sales, being persuasive, and building relationships.
With that, I decided this would be my career. I decided to pursue an MBA in Finance at Florida International University. I would then move on to work with firms such as Northern Trust, Florida Community Bank where I earned my first "Assistant Vice President" title, and eventually Synovus where I quit and ended my career cold turkey.
Although I was successful in the corporate world, I felt empty. I felt as if something was missing. I also started realizing that I was also passionate about a multitude of unconnected things such as: Marketing, entrepreneurship, fitness, philanthropy, writing, and mentoring, just to name a few.
And when my daughter, Layla, was born in 2019, my life changed. It was at that moment I decided to leave the corporate world and quit my job cold turkey - with no back up plan and nothing lined up.
I stepped out
on faith.
I gave up the security of the 9-5 and begin freelancing to keep a roof over my family's head, while learning sales copy, and digital marketing, and building a business around those skills from the ground up.
From struggling as a kid in Haiti, to moving to the USA and starting from scratch, to having a successful corporate career, and starting from scratch again by pursuing my entrepreneurship career, to earning multiple six figures and impacting others,
I’m undeniable proof that nothing is impossible with God, and that traditional rules were meant to be broken.
I believe the person you are now, and the person you want to be, is a matter of mindset.
That includes being intentional about everything you do, your unique set of God given gifts, and most importantly your heart's desire. I believe that whether you run your own business, or work a 9-5, an entrepreneurial approach is needed and critical for you to blossom in the modern world, and to achieve the level of success, growth, and fulfilment you desire.
No matter what your dreams are, or the obstacles you face along the way, you have the power and the ability to change your life. It all starts with your mindset. Change Your mindset. Change your life, and ultimately, change the world.
Overall, I don't have all the answers. I am not perfect, I make mistakes, I have bad days, I struggle mentally at times, and live in fear and self-doubt sometimes, just like the rest of humanity.
I am, however, committed to bring you the very best of what I am living and learning. I am proud of the work that I do, and I know God will continue to bless me, guide me, lead me, and fulfil His plans and His desires for my life.

"Life is an interesting journey. You never know where it will take you. Peaks and valleys, twists, and turns. You can get the surprise of your life. Sometimes, on the way to where you're going, you might think this is the worst time of your life. But you know what? At the end of the road, through all the adversity, if you can get to where you wanted to be, you'll remember whatever doesn't kill you makes you stronger, and all the adversity would've been worth it." - T.I
Thank you so much for taking the time to visit. I am thrilled we're connected, and I am excited for the journey ahead.
Love and Blessings,
